SUSTAINera represents the Stellantis promise to provide customers with sustainable, transparent, and affordable products and services, without compromising quality and while preserving the environment, by reducing waste and use of our planet's resources. What is the Circular Economy Business Model?

A SUSTAINABLE APPROACH FROM VEHICLE DESIGN TO END OF LIFE
Circular Economy
Integrated Ecosystem
As a sustainable label SUSTAINera embodies the integrated ecosystem of all Circular Economy activities and initiatives at Stellantis, moving from a 'take-make-dispose' approach to a circular use of resources and products, to make them last as long as possible. The aim is to:
  • Reduce demand for new raw materials and the use of finite natural resources
  • Reduce waste,  carbon footprint and pollution
  • Reduce energy consumption and CO2 emissions
  • Achieve carbon net zero

Full Vehicle
Lifecycle
To respond to the ecological challenge, we are committed to reducing our environmental impact throughout the full vehicle lifecycle, from design to end of life.

By prioritizing sustainable materials and implementing innovative ways to reduce waste, we aim to achieve our sustainability goals and move closer to a carbon net-zero future. Through these efforts, we’re committed to bringing substantial environmental benefits to the automotive industry and contributing to a more sustainable world.

Circular Economy
Principles
We have developed a comprehensive 360-degree business model based on the principles of the circular economy, implemented via the 4R Strategy: RemanReuseRepair and Recycle,
to extend the lifespan of products and reduce the use of natural resources by returning waste and materials into the production loop.

Our Sustainability Goals and Achieving Carbon Net Zero

The SUSTAINera offer of REMANUFACTUREDREPAIRED, REUSED and RECYCLED PARTS is an opportunity to tangibly reduce carbon footprint and consumption of raw materials, to enable the Circular Economy Business Unit to play a key role in supporting the ambitious Stellantis target of leading the industry to achieve carbon net zero by 2038.
